Frequently asked questions

How much do you charge?

I have no set price lists like most other DJ's. I am happy to work around your budget. For me it's about the service and enjoying what I do and charging you a fair price.
Where are you based?

Maidstone in the heart of Kent but I am happy to travel.

Are you insured?

Yes, I hold  £10 million Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and  my equipment holds current Portable Appliance Test (PAT) certificates. I carry these with me at all times.
What kind of music do you play?

My forte is party music old and new. If you have particular songs you would like played (or not!) I will make sure they are played during the course of your event. If I do not have the songs you require I will source them for no extra cost.
I don't play loud banging bass lines all night long, after all its meant to be a party not a club night. That said I have plenty of modern club music for the younger crowd.
Can I bring my own music?

Sure you can. I have a library of over 20,000 songs but anything specific you can bring along, ideally on a phone, MP3 player or iPod I can plug them all into my mixer. I do not let other people use my equipment due to my public liability insurance terms and conditions.

Do you do karaoke?

No sorry. I have worked with various singers over the years and if they bring their own PA mixer they are welcome to plug into my system. I have a DJ mixer and not a PA mixer.

How much space do you need?

8x4 feet (ish) and one plug socket, ideally two

My mate is a DJ can he do a spot?

Sorry no. My insurance cover does not allow other people to use my equipment.
